Short programmes
You can choose to study at your own pace with short programmes. Take a bite sized chunk of the national certificate and get there when you are ready. The programmes concentrate on topics of interest which count towards a national qualification. It’s a great way to get you started on updating your current qualification or beginning a new qualification, without taking on a whole programme.
Risk Management 101
Invest in your future and learn about:
- Legal matters affecting real estate salespeople and property managers
- Misleading and deceiving conduct and misrepresentation
- Land ownership, transfer of ownership, and titles
- The law of contract and the law of agency
- Council zoning and building law needed to act as a real estate agent
Best Practice 101 (Salesperson)
This programme is designed to up-skill those currently in the real estate industry to meet the requirements of the new National Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) (now the licensing requirement for new salespeople). When this workplace training programme is combined with Risk Management 101 the entire National Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) is attained. Completing this qualification gives you flexibility to come and go from the industry more easily. *Some people will already have completed parts of this programme. Future proof yourself and update your knowledge on:
- Appraisal and agency agreement
- *Marketing plans
- Licensing and the code of professional conduct and client care and the Real Estate Agents Act 2008
- Different sales methods
- *Sale and Purchase agreement.
