The process

Everyone enrolling in the on job training programme signs a training agreement, this is part of their enrolment, that allows us to subsidise the training. Talk to us about how you can manage this and how we can support the enrolment process and provide ongoing support as required.

REAL ITO will provide all the appropriate training and assessment material to you and this can be co-branded.

The training process
  • Decide which workplace training programme your salesperson or office wants to complete
  • Your salespeople/contractors complete their enrolment agreements for the workplace training programme and once you have verified it return it to REAL ITO with payment.
  • Study guide and assessment material will be issued with instructions and we will contact your salespeople to check they understand everything.
  • Talk through the training material with your salespeople.
  • For each unit, salespeople will read the assessment and study guide. Complete their assessment by explaining, demonstrating, giving examples or analysing.
  • Each time a salesperson completes a unit standard they send their work off to a REAL ITO assessor.
  • REAL ITO will keep in contact to make sure your salespeople are progressing with their workplace training programme and answer any queries.
  • Once the salesperson has met all the assessment requirements and your salesperson is marked competent in each of their unit standards, they will be awarded the qualification or certificate.
  • If not, the REAL ITO assessor will tell your salesperson what needs to be done to become competent. This will mean they will only have to resubmit the section that they are not competent in.
  • Once competent your salesperson can apply for their licence through the REAA and you can talk to us about further training opportunities.
